About Us
The Barista’s purpose is to promote safe drinking on campus through planning and hosting alternative events, primarily on the weekends. The Barista spreads awareness and education about safe partying as well as alcohol and drug awareness. In doing so, The Barista provides safe and dry places for students to comfortably have fun, relax, spend time with peers and contribute to the community. The Baristas’ theme house, The Lounge, has weekly events for students and friends to join. The house is also recognized as a dry space where students will not be exposed to the peer pressures of abusing alcohol, smoking and illegal substances. Have a suggestion?
