About Us
University Theatre is a dynamic space for students to grow as artists, leaders, collaborators, and storytellers. Each year, we offer a vibrant season of faculty-led theatre and dance productions, where students have the opportunity to perform, design, choreograph, and gain practical experience in a supportive and creative environment. In addition to mainstage productions, students are encouraged to take the lead by directing, choreographing, or performing in student-led shows—with personalized mentorship from our dedicated faculty every step of the way. Whether you're majoring in the arts or just exploring your creative side, there’s a place for you here. Our production program is an artistic laboratory where you can bring classroom learning to life, dive deeper into your passions, and build skills for future careers in the arts. We welcome students from all majors and backgrounds to participate, onstage or behind the scenes, or simply enjoy our performances as an audience member. Auditions are open to all students and typically take place during the second week of classes.
