Members of the Arts Annex have a range of interests across the fine arts. This house is made up of singers, dancers, musicians, writers, painters, and more. Members of this house are known for hosting open mics and "stoop shows" on their front porch.

The Arts Annex is also home to the music library on campus, which is open to the entire University community to use as a resource.

The Barista Lounge aims to promote safe drinking and drug use by offering alternative events, spreading education and awareness, and providing safe and dry spaces to have fun and feel comfortable.

The Campus Kitchens Project provides leadership and service learning opportunities to students while helping to meet nutritional and social needs of adults, seniors, children and families in the community. Each week we accept volunteers to help cook and serve a meal to community members.

Commons College is a St. Lawrence University living community that offers a distinctive living and learning experience designed to foster intellectual and moral growth. By integrating residential life with academic exploration, Commons College creates a supportive and dynamic environment where students from diverse disciplines engage in meaningful conversations and lcollaborative learning. Our mission is to cultivate a strong sense of community through open, honest dialogue and a commitment to both personal and collective development.
Students in Commons College collaborate with faculty advisors to design unique, interdisciplinary courses that extend learning beyond the traditional classroom. This approach not only enhances academic perspectives but also strengthens friendships and promotes active service to both the St. Lawrence and local Canton communities. We take pride in being a long-standing student organization that supports diverse, innovative approaches to education and personal growth, fostering new ways to think, connect, and thrive throughout the collegiate experience.
